Friday, May 10, 2024 - Los Angeles, California

Overnight success is a myth; true professional success is forged and cultivated over years of dedication. At Table for Ten, we embody this principle by giving a diverse community of women and men within Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE), to practice a key element of success: communication, marketing, and relationship building.

Dedicated to championing women, this experience is crafted to propel and advance the careers of female professionals, with full support from their male counterparts. Let us unite across sectors and generations, pushing forward the pursuit of gender equity in design, construction, and real estate.

Join us in our mission to redefine professional success and foster inclusivity. Together, we can make a tangible impact for the present and future.

━ EXPERIENCE

Table for Ten is a highly curated day to learn the strategies to be in leadership positions. Attendees will not only meet the people that will support them in that process, but also create meaningful relationships that ultimately move the needle for women in AEC and CRE. It will be an intense, intimate, highly productive day of networking, connecting, and marketing.

━ PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE

Date: May 10, 2024 Venue: Studio-MLA, 251 South Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90033

8am Registration and Networking

9am Panel: Women in Leadership: Let’s Get Real!

So you want to be a leader. Learn about the skills, the experiences, and honest truth about what it may take. Not only hear personal anecdotes, but ask questions and get direct advice from the women who’ve been there.

10am Panel: Male Feminists: Champions of Women

Hear about the male perspective as we talk about gender and the workplace. Engage with the group to understand which strategies are working to include more women in the decision-making process.

11am Panel: Meet the Women: Evolving Design, Construction, and Real Estate

Are we still talking about sustainability like it’s a thing? What are the current innovations that are actually changing the AEC industry that impact the clients’ timeline and budget.

12pm Lunch and Networking

1pm Pitch Session

Imagine a format like The Voice or America’s Got Talent. However, you will be listening to a 5-minute presentation from a mid to senior level female professional in the design, construction, and real estate industry. You, as the executive, will act as the judge and give feedback on how they did and areas of improvement. This will be observed by all the attendees of the conference.

2pm One-on-One Meetings (VIPs)

One-on-one meetings will provide 20 minutes with vendors that you’d like to meet within the real estate, construction, or design industries. This will take place in a separate private room. This will also be limited to VIPs of the conference. You will approve of your group before the conference. There is also an overall limit based on your sponsorship package and preferences.

3pm Drinks and Happy Hour (VIPs)
